This one hour Zoom meeting will give participants an introduction to Wikidata and why it is important for botanists (and indeed all scientists) to actively improve and engage with Wikidata, especially about scientists, collectors, taxa, specimens, scientific publications, and research. This Zoom meeting will also act as an online boarding session for those who have registered for our in person Wikidata workshop at the International Botanical Congress on 21 July from 12-5 pm in Madrid. However, you do NOT need to be attending the in-person workshop to attend this one-hour FREE Zoom introduction which is open to ALL who register for it.
