Do journalists use mastodon yet and if so where do I find them?

Wagner's Fathom 107, a blend of 65% Riesling and 35% Gewürztraminer, packs citrus and floral notes on the nose with apple and peach on the palate and a zip of lemon. Centi'anni y'all! #wine #fingerlakes #newyork

On a clear night in Kinlochleven in November, the Milky Way is visible down the loch. This shot took several attempts as the high road to the village runs to the left of this image. A 30 second exposure meant it took a bit of good timing to avoid light trails from the few cars which did venture down that night. This image was taken next to the slipway area in Kinlochleven.

@LordGrimdark from your Twitter post, I didn't think we would ever see you here. Welcome
This Lagrein from Jamesport on Long Island is a good example of the experimentation done these days, especially in smaller places. It is native to Trentino-Alto Adige in Italy. I really liked this.

I once found someone on TikTok who said he hated Port, but he was talking about a Missouri Port made from Norton. That's not really Port. :) These, from Sogrape, were the subject of a recent article. Mostly Sandeman with some Ferreira. This includes the new 50-Year Tawny, a relatively new category.

Two lovely mature Rieslings, both completely fresh and youthful. The heavier weight Auslese is a **. The Spatlese has beautiful acidity and precision. The Barbaresco was in perfect shape to drink. It didn't really require any decanting. In fact, considering that I decanted the last bottle I had of it, I think it was better without decanting. Cellaring wines becomes a bigger advantage when you get older. 😁 #robertparker #wineadvocate #winesofItaly #winesofGermany #riesling #wine

Uncorking a very old Port has its problems. This is my video at Ramos Pinto, as they show how to use Port tongs to uncork one of their 1880 Portos. It's a slow process, so I clipped off the 1st minute or so of heating. (And I may've been a little too quick at the end, but it still comes through.)

The Portuguese voice you can sometimes hear in the background is Jorge Rosas, the Managing Director. #wine #port #porto #portugal #robertparker #wineadvocate

My site about a year ago adopted the concept of awarding wineries for sustainability and eco distinction. There are many aspects to that, but often the wines are organic.

On my nomination and after site approval, Portugal now has its first two wineries awarded our Green Emblem. Congratulations to Herdade do Esporão and Julia Kemper.
