The history of artists/athletes (in this case American artists) using their platform as agency to stir the pot or somehow legitimize their abhorrent behavior usually ends in one of two ways: a public mea culpa engineered by a crisis team to somehow ask that their celebrity-amplified human foibles be forgiven, or a full blown meltdown. Will be interesting to see how this works out for Kanye. I’m thinking people who are close to him should be running to minimum safe distance.
