My issue with #digital #privacy is not that I have something to hide, but rather, where is the world going in the name of safety or convenience. Which is mass digital #surveillance , to an extent that we may struggle with in the future, once it had unfortunately gone too far to reverse.

What people need to realize is that internet is no longer a domain of private self and life, but has already became our public persona.

At least there was one good #privacy move by EU regulators last week:

Europe’s privacy regulators have “significant concerns” about #Washington’s plans to hoover up more data about European travelers, they said in a letter sent to the @EUCommission this week.

The #EDPB asked the Commission if it plans to “take any action” over a US proposal to review Europeans’ social media and #PersonalData when they apply for #visa-free travel to the US.
