I stumbled upon the Shave 'em to Save 'em program. It only operates in the US. (That doesn't prohibit people from elsewhere in the world from buying yarn and fiber. It just means your breed completion stickers don't count towards a prize.)

I've been diving into the world of two-colour stranded knitting by recreating the pattern from this 12th century sock found in Egypt. It's so stunning and the process so enjoyable that I wrote a substack for it!

First multicolour #knit Projekt. I heard it’s good to start faire isle practice with hats. I can recommend it as well. I changed decrease of the top of the hat later- but of course didn’t take a picture yet.
