She "needs" a new blanket (I made her a prairie star 10 years ago, it has suffered quite a bit from being owned by a teenager ... but it was very much loved).

I stumbled upon the Shave 'em to Save 'em program. It only operates in the US. (That doesn't prohibit people from elsewhere in the world from buying yarn and fiber. It just means your breed completion stickers don't count towards a prize.)
