The normalisation of the extreme-right by the centre-right in Sweden went like this.
- we will never work with them.
- we happened to vote the same way as them.
- since we know they also like this policy, we will propose it. But we are not working with them!
- our policies are based on extreme-right support so it makes sense to talk to them
- a local council will be run with extreme-right support. But never nationally!
- YOLO national government with extreme right support, it's normal now
If you used to listen to my show, or you are interested in writing, game design, and TTRPGs, the podcast we released yesterday may be a fun listen.
It’s kinda sad to see people think I’m ’bribed’ by Meta.. I have not signed anything, I did not attend anything from them nor did I accept anything but still the worst is assumed when I don’t agree on blocking a still in development project that we don’t even know the (domain)name from right away
I don’t have any love for Meta or any of such companies whatsoever, that’s why I’m putting all I have in these platforms and guard it with my life so don’t expect Meta to get a ‘free pass’ on anything
I'm absolutely loving this spirit of malicious compliance that's creeping into the subreddits that have been forced to reopen.
/r/pics started it off by holding a vote where their users overwhelmingly said that the only pics they wanted were ones of John Oliver looking lovely.
Now /r/WellThatSucks is purely a place to post pictures of vacuum cleaners.
And /r/iPhone is only permitting posts that are pictures of Tim Cook.
All of these policy changes have been voted and agreed upon by the subreddits' users, so Reddit can't even complain that the mod teams are going against their users' wishes.

Weather models seem to agree that we are going to see a truly remarkable temperature change on Thursday, with temps probably dropping somewhere on the order of 30-50 degrees in 8-12 hours depending on how warm it can get ahead of the front.
Kind of miraculous that we’ve been talking about potential for significant cold for several days already and we’ll have 5-7 days of lead time to prepare for a hard freeze.
