Do any #linux wizards know why the control key is the preferred modifier for applications? I think the super key is the superior one, and it's so difficult to change this behaviour in a lot of apps.

Apparently, if you have facebook or Instagram installed on your phone, #Meta was able to track your browsing habits and link them to your real identity even if you never logged in on the web, used incognito mode or a VPN. I hope Meta gets hit with every fine in the book.

I've been looking into #nixos to automate my homelab and pc setups, but damn that's a deep rabbit hole. I think that I'm gonna set up my #archlinux install first, with my dotfiles. After that I'm going to dive deep into the #nix rabbit hole using virtual machines.
why do people in #politics only give a shit about short term plans, I don't care if my groceries are €2 cheaper if that means that thousands of #children in #school get less chances to climb the social 'ladder'

I never understood why so many men associate with imagery of predatory animals.

My idealized version of my own masculinity is best represented by a tree. Patient. Immensely endurant. Self-sufficient. Unbothered by trivial, ephemereal affairs. Innately kind to the world around it.

I don't want to be a lion or a wolf or a shark, I want to be an ancient oak whose branches have sheltered countless birds and squirrels.

Hey #americans I was just wondering: what do you get taught in school during #history? Do you also get the full history of humanity and Europe before the history of America, or does it start with the native Americans and their history?
