@Corb_The_Lesser so control is just the standard and super is the weird thing. Now I finally understand why that is, still sucks that adjusting modifier keys is so difficult though.

@Xionical I prefer using the super or alt key within applications as well, as it's a bit more ergonomic to press. It's just annoying that you often can't change the default modifier within a lot of application's settings.

It could be that I'm just weird as I'm running a mac as well as a pc as my daily driver.

Do any #linux wizards know why the control key is the preferred modifier for applications? I think the super key is the superior one, and it's so difficult to change this behaviour in a lot of apps.

Apparently, if you have facebook or Instagram installed on your phone, #Meta was able to track your browsing habits and link them to your real identity even if you never logged in on the web, used incognito mode or a VPN. I hope Meta gets hit with every fine in the book.

“Localhost tracking” explained. It could cost Meta 32 billion.

You just can't finish off Zuckerberg.

@BrodieOnLinux Well, I do have a take on this specifically

Great video on trying to solve the #housing crisis in the #netherlands which is waaay more complex than it seems. Comment section has some interesting takes, but it makes you wonder what a real solution would look like.

I'm loving local #llm. I don't have powerful hardware so I use small models which aren't the brightest at times... I asked it to recommend an #AMD system upgrade.
@markus yeah, I was just a bit frustrated with the new updates crap and still am not that familiar with java. It wasn't meant to be too serious
@voidcontext yeah that's the case
