Seriously though, who looks at websites, noted for not being able to safely hang onto the already over the top volumes of personal information they collect unnecessarily, and says, “you know what these people need? a copy of everyones government issued ID.”
took a gamble on an untested lenovo yoga 11 (armv7 nt convertible laptop)

first time i dumped a VMK via windows boot environment exploits on real hardware!
Reform managing to lose nine of its councillors to ineptitude and outbursts of hate speech. They are en route for implosion at a rate of knots and will hopefully no longer be a going concern by next election. https://hopenothate.org.uk/2025/06/13/dropping-like-flies-reform-loses-nine-councillors-in-six-weeks/

when reverse-engineering embedded devices, i like to make these overlays

to make one yourself, open the datasheet screenshot in gimp, use "select by color" on the _black_ (this is important), grow the border by 1-3 px, copy the selection, paste onto a photo, and use universal transform until it matches

I simply do not concede that any of your cookie vendors' interests are legitimate.
I don’t know who to credit for this, but it’s beautiful
Best comeback of the year. The Polish foreign minister waited three months to deliver this beautiful gem.

I am reading the Cursor forums and github issues and this shit is so funny.

bug report: cursor can access my .env file even though it's explicitly not allowed to because it also is given arbitrary use of a shell, and it just grep'd my API key and used cURL rather than calling the script i told it to call

TIL that because the FFmpeg project has gained so much experience in hand-writing assembly code to provide huge speedups, they now are putting together a series of lessons for learning assembly:

Vibe coding is fun and all, but this is probably a better use of time!

@jerry a person holding a trash bin, looks correct

@jerry #ALT4you a series of 6 icons of the windows recycle bin over the years from 1995, with the final 7th icon being the Microsoft Teams icon in 2025

The caption reads
"The evolution of the trash icon"

@Taco_lad @jerry
Thank you for the alt text. I don't recognize the Teams logo, so I didn't get the joke. I looked for alt text to provide context and it wasn't there. Even fully sighted people like myself benefit from alt text. I use it all the time to better understand the images folks post.
@jerry I just shared it with all the IT people in my office. There was zero disagreement. lmao #infosec
@jerry the idea is at least 5 years old I believe. Here you have another example as well a template for your own creations. Nevertheless, I also needed to laugh about Teams trash, it's true.
@jerry The 2000 one is a very nice touch (it's the Windows 2000 icon, but with the Windows logo added as a thrown-away thing).
@jerry But it is the truth, and the truth will set you free.

@itisiboller @jerry

John 8:32.

If only our Corporate masters would see the light of salvation and reject Microsoft and Microsoft Teams as the foundations of evil and torture that plague civilization.

@jerry I always use trash icon to open Explorer. You can always find it on desktop while "My Computer" is gone.
@jerry the windows 2000 one is a mood. the windows logo in a bin. where it belongs...
@jerry I’m forced to use Teams every day at work. As awful as it is, it’s never as bad as the days a vendor makes me use Zoom.
@jerry I must say I enjoyed very much the 2000 bin were the whole Window logo was in the trash.
@jerry Slack should be there too. It's a disaster.
@jerry That is NOT the copilot icon 🤨
@jerry earned my boost but can't fav it

@jerry I’m ashamed to confess that I have absolutely zero problem using Teams.

Where did I go so wrong!?!

@jerry surprisingly accurate. I'm not talking about the trash icons. Look!
@jerry Honestly i'm against windows, but xp and 7 were the best among others
