I'm starting to brainstorm a revisionist western short idea. I think I'm going to focus on a snake oil salesman (they seem as relevant as ever in today's world)
Maybe focus on the sad fact a lot of people WANT to believe them.
I'm also thinking of next year's task for myself.
Maybe I create an audioplay?
I could start a daily TikTok on my progress as I go about creating one?
Hmmm...just trying to work out is the the Mastodon version of a QT?
I'm confused about something. Is there no way to quote-toot people? I wanted to comment on a toot that @[email protected] posted, but it only lets me retoot it (gonna take a while to get used to this language). What if I want to make a larger observation about it to everybody, and not simply respond to Jed?
So I got my writing done early last week because me and Celine had a wedding to attend on Friday.
Got to bed about 4am. Had to drive 4 plus hours to race home to out cats the day after.
I'll try and write something Sunday.

I've a "revisionist western" genre to create a short script for. That should be fun!
So #twitter had a fairly active #writingcommunity and a lot of pro writers/filmmakers in which the "aspiring" sort connected with through comments, helpful threads etc.
So it seems Twitters new "$8 a month" will mean those with blue ticks (pros in some cases) will see less of the aspiring (non payees) in their feeds, meaning less potential connections made
I'm wondering what replaces Twitter in this case?
