You’ve written a great script (or ten) and you finally land representation. Congrats! But now what? Do they just like get you work? Not exactly. So this week’s #Scriptsky #Screenwriting thread is on what to do after you get an agent and/or manager. Spoiler: the same stuff you did beforehand. 🧵1

I think we're in need of a Gomorrah (2008) style movie that shows everyone in the chain of harm, from end to end, starting from Alex Karp, running through the administration, all the way to the missile operator, to the children killed in the Shajareh Tayyebeh school in Iran

If ur preparing to send your screenplay to contests, producers, or managers, it can help to understand how professional readers evaluate scripts.

My amazing coworker @[email protected] always starts off every story with a well-crafted logline. I never used to. But seeing how much it helped her focus her storytelling turned me into a convert. Loglines before and after. #Scriptsky #Screenwriting

The finale of See You In My 19th Life is now one of my all time favourite TV final episodes.

If you are a writer, especially if you are a writer who struggles with endings, I warmly encourage you to watch it.

*The Netflix description doesn't do it justice. It's only 12 episodes. Just go in cold & definitely watch the full pilot to give it a fair shot.
