I set up a new toy over the weekend. I’ve connected a #raspberrypi to a secondhand thermal printer I bought off eBay. I set it to print off a mini newspaper for me in the morning in the form of some RSS feeds. It also prints Mastodon notifications. If you reply to this message it should print out.

I'm trying to find creative ways to visualise the different types of candidate endorsements for the 2024 UK conservative party leadership election in my next blog post. How does a graph work? Edges are weighted by number of endorsements.

Went for a ride in the countryside today until I heard a massive pop when descending! I cannot recommend enough the importance of buying a decent road bike tyre. Don’t be like James and buy the cheapest possible tyre because it’s cheap and convenient. #cycling #roadbike
