A very happy bonus #parkrun day to all who celebrate. Decidedly chill today, but managed to start near the front of the hordes (739 today, might be a new record) so was able to do some barcode scanning afterwards. Also did the first timer's welcome, only forgetting to mention to keep left and about the photographers 🤦‍♀️).

No club run tonight (can't imagine why) so dragged myself out for a solo 8 miles run after moving some heavy things around. Legs not happy about that, or about running so soon after yesterday's session, but can't be helped.

Chilly out, with a nasty biting wind. Fair play to the postman doing his round in full elf outfit (including mandatory high-viz).

Another #tracktuesday session ticked off on the railway path with 1.5 mile reps aiming for between 10:09 and 10:27 per rep. I hit 10:11, 10:08, 10:13, 10:12 for 11.5 miles total.

Starting Christmas week with #scyforrunners and 7 miles (felt good, so it was more steady than easy, but heart rate still good). Somehow have to squeeze 50 miles into the week with 2 editions of #parkrun in the week, and a 4 mile race on Boxing Day (instead of 6 miles at half marathon pace). I'm definitely going to have to sacrifice a weights session (the second is optional) to fit it all in.
