In 1925, Dr. Cecilia Payne completed her PhD thesis, described as “the most brilliant ever written in astronomy.” At a time when few #women entered academia, Payne discovered what the universe is made of. Her work began a revolution in astrophysics.

Dr. Payne-Gaposchkin became the 1st female professor & 1st female department chair at Harvard. Given most of us remember names like Darwin & Newton, we should also celebrate Payne. #science #space

It seems important that the immediate past President of the United States and the likely Republican nominee for President in 2024 has called for suspension of the Constitution. We cannot ignore the normalization of such an outrage. Every news show should be focused on this.

I really don't need the cookies. And with a Tesla, I really don't need the flat. Already had one. Found the only replacement tire in the state of Massachusetts. THAT was winning. Otherwise, it would still be sitting on a block of brown sugar waiting for a tire. 🤣
