@ai6yr I hit an elk once in Northern AZ (outside Happy Jack). The elk ran away. My Acura Integra had front end damage AND I flattened one side of all 4 tires slamming on the brakes (pre-anti-lock brakes). Happens a lot on I-17, along Highway 89, & along the Mogollon Rim.

I heartily recommend reading the brief in full. It appears to have been drafted by former NJ AG Matthew Platkin and his associates, at least some of whom were at the NJDOJ with Platkin. These folks are exceptional lawyers and it is not surprising the brief is SO good. 5/5

Any astronomers looking for a wild new job?

I got a message from an ecologist in Belgium today, and he's looking for a postdoc with experience in photometry to work on analysis of all-sky imagery for an experiment on the impact of #LightPollution on birds.

This is not a job offer! He would work together with the candidate on an internal university grant.
