We finally got this clematis to bloom, only a year late. The original gardener died last October.

We got an unexpectedly colder arctic blast than forecast in Portland, OR yesterday. Almost 10" of snow and ice pellets.
No one was ready for that level. Lots of stuck travellers at PDX, poor folks. And houseless are struggling. (I'm going to try serving more warm things tonight.)
My window froze OPEN oops. Not great design. Sigh.
