Thunderf00t made a video about the SpaceX IPO recently, explaining the technicalities Musk is going after, titled: "SpaceX IPO: The Greatest Rug Pull In History?". I would not go as far as to say "Kiss your pensions goodbye..." for that reason alone. The market had a higher PE ratio in the past 40 years than historical average [1], meaning, to get historical returns, the stocks must go up more and not crash until the investor sells.
