Conservative News Corp. empire says hackers were inside its network for 2 years

News Corp. disclosed the breach last year. Now, company says it lasted 23 months.

Every story I read about these types of incidents just feeds into large corporations not spending money in IT, every damn time.

Record profits but skeleton tech support, they get what they paid for.

Kinda hoping that Netflix's new "we'll ban you if you watch the Netflix account you paid for outside of your home too much" story turns into a "New Coke"-style business school case study in how to do something totally stupid that pisses off your most loyal customers, and leads Netflix to reverse course quickly.

A true page turner, esp if you enjoy learning abt history, cryptography/intelligent women. I'll be at the Newberry tmrw & will check out Shakespeare's First Folio

He talked about electric cars. I don't know anything about cars, so when people said he was a genius I figured he must be a genius.

Then he talked about rockets. I don't know anything about rockets, so when people said he was a genius I figured he must be a genius.

Now he talks about software. I happen to know a lot about software & Elon Musk is saying the stupidest shit I've ever heard anyone say, so when people say he's a genius I figure I should stay the hell away from his cars and rockets.
