City views in Timelapse. This shot was taken due south of Downtown Nashville on the edge of Radnor Lake State Park. These hills max out at 1,160 feet (353.5m) making them the highest elevation within the Metro Nashville/Davidson County boundary. The tallest (at this moment) skyscraper in this view is known as the Batman building and it is 617 feet (188m) tall. Taken Sunday at 2,600 feet (792.5m) on the #FoothillsParkway near Walland, #Tennessee. The parkway is part of the Great Smoky #Mountains #NationalPark system yet it exists entirely outside the park’s boundaries. During the weekend there had been a #WinterStormWarning for elevations above 2,500 feet where 4-12+ inches (10-30+cm) of #snow fell. This picture was taken looking south into the western section of the National Park. The highest elevations in the park rise above 6,600 feet (2,011m).
