No, I am saying someone who wants to use QT can already migrate to an ActivityPub tool that has express support for them, like Calckey (e.g. vancity.social). Then the usual rules of Federation will determine whether their use is for good or evil.
This is why calling everything "Mastodon" is so counter-productive. There's much more out there and it's all interoperable.

Another important warning from the pawoo acquisition: The purchaser, Mask Network, is a cryptotoken company that pushes the "web3" myth and openly runs NFT scams*. A lot of people comment that when Twitter started failing it was ActivityPub that wound up being the decentralized way forward, not blockchain tech, but blockchain scammers have a financial interest in making it look otherwise. Twitter suspends Mastodon account, prevents sharing links
On Dec 16, Twitter suspended our @joinmastodon account after we shared a link to the newly registered Mastodon account of @ElonJet, an account that broadcasts public flight path data of Elon Musk’s private jet, which was previously suspended from Twitter itself. At the same time, accounts of multiple journalists from major publications such as CNN, The New York Times, The Washington Post, as well as various independent journalists, were likewise suspended for either linking to the account itself or talking about the event.
