No, I am saying someone who wants to use QT can already migrate to an ActivityPub tool that has express support for them, like Calckey (e.g. vancity.social). Then the usual rules of Federation will determine whether their use is for good or evil.

This is why calling everything "Mastodon" is so counter-productive. There's much more out there and it's all interoperable.
