It's #WaterfallWednesday and I am HERE FOR IT. I love #waterfalls and my husband and I often go chasing them (sorry 90s TLC fans). We also do a LOT of #crosscountry #roadtrips and adore #NationalParks. So we see a fair amount of them.

This is #ElowahFalls a waterfall in the #ColumbiaGorge of #Oregon. Most folks know Multnomah Falls, but if you spend half a day drive (or biking) the gorge, you can find numerous other beautiful (and way less crowded) waterfalls some right off the roadway, and others a short hiking distance from the road or parking area.

In the Summer of 2018, my husband and I did a cross country roadtrip from San Francisco, California to Bar Harbor, Maine. Driving up to Maine we stopped by the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord Massachusetts outside of Boston. Here's Henry David Thoreau's gravestone for #TombTuesday.

Apparently it's #ThickTrunkTuesday and I am INTO IT. This is a #sequoia tree from the #sequoianationalpark. You can see off in the distance there are a bunch of TINY people at the base of the tree in the background. That should give you a sense of scale of these trees. They're the largest trees in the world (my mass). And many are over 2000 years old!

I'm obsessed with #nationalparks and have a goal to hit all 63 US National Parks. I'm thankful that there are a number of them here in #California that are super easy for me to get to.
