One hundred seven years ago today, the labor troubadour Joe Hill was executed by a Utah firing squad for a crime he almost certainly didn’t commit. His real crime: singing and agitating on behalf of the working class.

+9 minutes of added time. You're having a laugh. #irnusa #usmnt
I love liver Pâté and this time of year I crave it with toast. Here’s my problem, no one else in my household eats it except for me and the dog. When I buy it in the store it’s about enough to feed five people. It goes off so fast. Do you know a good way of freezing or preserving it? I feel so bad throwing it away.
If this can be a salad, you can be anything.
What is your #selfCare #ComfortFood for when you're sick? I am nursing my flu with paté montañés, a nice full grain mustard, and orujo. Orujo is the local pomace brandy. #Asturias #Orujo #brandy #aguardiente

Hello! I've been waiting for kith.kitchen to open back up so I could finally hop on to Mastodon. Here I am!

I'm Stephen, and I mainly want to talk about food. I love discovering the world through what other people eat. I cook most nights and regularly review cookbooks (link in bio!), so have a healthy bookshelf.

About 4 months ago I was diagnosed with coeliac disease, and I'm still angry about it. Show me your pizzas. Let me live vicariously through your pastas and sourdough starters.

Randomish question ...

does anyone know of a preferably UK based crafter who might do custom comissions for silver signet rings?

Why yes, I'm a #reenactor in the #sca ? Why do you ask?

Welcome new followers! I may have made an #introduction post ages ago but here's a refresher.

I #blog about #beer at https://www.thebrewsite.com/ (have been for ages and ages) and I also do some freelance beer writing.

I've been using Mastodon primarily to post links to the blog, sometimes multiple times per day, so apologies if that can seem spammy! But as more people come online, I'm happy to chat about #craftbeer, #brewing, #breweries, and anything else.

Cheers!

The Brew Site

Active since 2004, The Brew Site is one of the longest-running beer blogs on the web. Dedicated to all things beer and brewing, with a particular focus on Oregon, featuring reviews of beers and breweries, industry news and events, articles on homebrewing, and more.

This rant thread brought to you by the Rennes Tourism Office, who apparently knew that I was coming to town, and made me a handy list of acceptable places to eat and drink:
