Dreaming of trees, wishing people still wore masks on planes. #lichensubscribe #vancouver #canada
I can’t say I ever enjoyed the commute to #SFU #Burnaby, but it has always been a lovely place for a walk. #Mosstodon #Vancouver
Truly the greatest purpose for #ChatGPT is #StarTrek TNG scripts.

Remember, kids: be careful what you post online!

(Okay, sorry, I promise this is the last one. Does Kirk ever even have a beard?).

@RikerGoogling I'm amused that most of the episodes end with the culprits being either the Ferengi or some species studying humans, the resolution is always "Picard told them to stop, the end," and they universally come across as lessons very much of that era about protecting yourself online.

But, aha! This one is boring, and probably the best put together.

I asked #ChatGPT to write the Star Trek episode where the crew discovers @RikerGoogling. It hasn't generated the perfect script yet, and the service finds it to be very, very inappropriate: I keep getting content warnings (hence the red text).
The mossiest place in #Vancouver is Camosun Bog. At one point it had almost completely disappeared, but it is being lovingly restored by members of the community.

I heard there’s finally a use for all of my moss pictures. #mosstodon
I'm really happy with the new run commands in @gnome Builder 43. Here's GNOME Shell building and running in nested mode, in a toolbox container, with its own session bus.
So I made a GNOME Shell extension to hide workspace thumbnails in the overview. I feel like this is probably just a me thing, but does anyone else want this? Trying to decide if I should bother publishing it: https://gitlab.gnome.org/dylanmccall/hide-workspace-thumbnails-extension/
