I was born. Now I live. Eventually I will die.

Looking for some advice about peertube.

I'm working on a silly board game review show. What platform(s) do you all think would like that kind of content?

I payed Redshirts a few nights ago it was a silly game with a few bad design choices, but a lot of fun in you are a fan of Star Trek.

Right, time for a proper re #introduction post since we're now on indiepocalypse.social. Boosts very welcome!

We're Exilian, and we're a democratic, volunteer-run community of creative geekery. We've existed at the https://exilian.co.uk website and forums since 2008: we support our members and the public more generally in indie and hobbyist creative or academic projects, wherever they are in the world.

To that end, we run the forum, publish articles about random interesting bits of information, host virtual meetups and events, run competitions and writing projects, and more besides. Our projects cover indie gamedev, writing, tabletop games, game modding, independent music and drama, and other eclectic oddments. We're excited to be here & would love to talk about the cool things you're making!

A short thread will follow of a few of the sorts of things we've done and supported, to give you a flavour :)

Here is a #sketch I made of some snow on the rocks that were made into a steep path on #governorsisland Snow is still a bit of a challenge without color, but it sure makes some interesting shapes.
This is not the submarine I'm looking for. I rode my nike all the way out to Patterson NJ to draw the Finian Ram, but they were closed despite thier website saying that they would be opened. I did spot the SS Linden on the way so I made a #sketch of that
When I was on vacation last week I went through the petrified forest, which was cool. Although these rocks were made from the remains of trees that grew 250 mya, I thought it would make a cool D&D campaign to uncurse a forest that was turned to stone like this by an angry god. The whole area around the petrified forest is quite desolate, so it would be a good payoff for the PCs to breathe life back into the area.
