Got curious enough about a fairly extensive clump of leafy greens in the sideyard to download an identifying app. (Called "Picture This")

Turns out to be an edible arugula, which I'll now use to punch up my tossed salads for free. (I don't recall planting it.)

Apparently the taste and pungency varies with the diner's possession of a certain gene. Flavor definitely reminds me of the hot mustard sauce often served in Chinese restaurants.
