Snow flurries this afternoon (but sunshine and 63 F / 17 C tomorrow...)

Red-bellied Woodpecker on the redbud tree -- with a few snowflakes in the air.

Kookaburra does not seem bothered by noisy minors. There were about five of them for a while and she just sat there. Then moved closer to me, still with miners in attendance. Then they left.

A very round robin. Might have something to do with 27 degrees F (-3 C) and howling winds.

Our resident red-bellied #woodpecker. He comes by every day at least once and you can hear his calls from the trees almost every time I am out back.

Recent arrivals: Grackles and Redwing Blackbirds. The grackles are in groups of 30 or more individuals. The blackbirds, so far, are mostly males, and I only see a few at a time.
