A nice look back at all of the articles written as mastodon hit the social scene last month.
From its initial explosive growth it seems to have settled down as people navigate their way around and get to know each other.

Happy to discover this decentralized social network #mastodon. I'm just beginning to read the docs and find my way around. I have one question. The docs say something to the effect that if one network goes down, you still get to keep your list of followers. How does that work?

re: "If one server goes bankrupt or starts acting unethically, the network persists so you never have to worry about migrating your friends and audience to a yet another platform again." // Okay, if one server goes down, the overall network still stays up. But, if your username happens to be on the server that goes rogue, you would have to create a new account on a live server, and you would lose your friends, right?
