Today in fun C preprocessor learnings: using #if 0 ... #endif blocks to comment a range of lines and allow arbitrary nesting -- it usually works, and you can even use it to comment out blocks of code in a middle of a function call argument list. However, you cannot have this kind of #if directive in the middle of a macro expansion (eg calling a function-like macro and #if 0 to comment some args)
