Based on its "about" section, the mastodon.social server is based in Germany. However, according to https://fedidb.com/servers, the mastodon.social instance of Mastodon is listed as being based in the United States!
Is this wrong or is it due to the fact I live in Canada and the closest physical server for mastodon.social is in the USA?

Two days ago, after subscribing to the Washington Post for seven years, I cancelled my subscription.
