November snowfall trend over the past 50 years in and around Alaska. Big increases North Slope and Brooks Range due to loss of sea ice/more open water in adjacent oceans. Less snow widely on and near Bering Sea and Gulf of Alaska coasts reflect warming oceans. Increases inland due to higher moisture content in the area with temps still plenty cold enough for snow.
