@slace @bradwilson I read this toot and laughed...only to lose two hours to a line ending issue with a shell script cloned to Windows, but copied into a Linux container.
I mean how hard can it be to change line endings in an OS?

The cycle is the same:
1) Watch a bunch of #AGDQ2023
2) Think about running one of my favourite #snes games
3) Realize I would probably rather rack the ROM than just speedrun it
4) Start thinking about #gamedev
5) Start down the road of a new side project that involves learning something related to #videogames
Maybe I can channel this energy this time into something interesting, rather than beating myself up over starting and shelving another side project.

This toot/tweet totally took me for a loop. In Uni, best code was written in evening after everything was done. In current life, best code is written when kids are sleeping and nothing is between my mind and the code editor.
