Just voted for the 2026 .NET Foundation board of directors opening.

It's a ranked choice system, and you don't have to vote for everybody (you can leave people off the list entirely). The only consistent factor I used was: if you're saying "we need moar AI", then you didn't get a vote from me. The last thing we need to do is encourage more slop in the foundation; Microsoft is generating enough on its own without the community pitching in.

if i tell someone if we have a healthcare system that profits off of bankrupting people, debilitating them, and cutting their lives short, someone will get mad enough to fight back on the same life and death terms

am i cheering for murder?

in both cases i'm describing cause and effect, inevitability

making profit by cutting lives short does not pass without notice nor pushback
