I have been reading up on TrueNAS, and the same hardware that I was using for Proxmox is the perfect hardware for TrueNAS.

I find it interesting that people believe their religious text to be the undeniable words of their supreme being but then a minute later, they are ready to pick and choose which parts of it they will follow and which parts they will ignore.

Moore's Law is dead and we have reached a happy plateau. We dont need more computing power. We can do so much now. If you need something to chew on, work on making it more efficient. Make the code smaller and faster and lighter.
And less of a power draw.
