April 2026 at 16:00 - xHain hack+makespace - Grünberger Str. 16 L5 is a creative coding library in the family of Processing languages, implemented in Lua with LÖVE. It attempts to reckon seriously with principles of permacomputing, including design and documentation for offline use, suitability for older hardware, design for longevity, and exposing the underlying infrastructure. After a brief presentation and discussion of the project, we'll discuss where it aligns and where it strays from permacomputing. https://l5lua.org/ https://berlin.permacomputing.net/ @[email protected]

@sebvandenbrink Most Berliners would be confused by adding the train lines, as they tend to not be considered as "of the city", but visually, I can't say.

I do have a strong opinion that if you can use an ß, you should, as it's a very cool looking letter.

The first full version of my #Berlin subway map is done. It needs tuning now. A key (legend) and I think I want to implement the ABC-fair zones (as to further emphasize the shape of the bear). I *might* include regular rail lines, too. But I kinda like it like this. What say you? #transit #map
