Got a Wii U on the Pretendo network. There are a lot of people here!

The problem with trading government services for tax cuts is that there are a lot of essential services where no amount of additional money in your pocket makes up for their loss.

The DOGE dividend was a lie.

FEMA Didn’t Answer Thousands of Calls From Flood Survivors, Documents Show

Two days after deadly Texas floods, the agency struggled to answer calls from survivors because of call center contracts that weren’t extended.

I need a way to teach my video pipeline that I actually have a 4:3 screen and don't need a double letter box to show it. Does someone make an HDMI to HDMI converter that lets you upload custom scaling strategies?

Happy 4th everyone. Organize. Work together. And of course…
I've done enough complaining for now. Here's a quick video of the veg patch after overnight rain. Was able to pick enough blueberries to make about three pies before the birds find them. The zucchini & yellow squash have now started to produce heavily & a number of eggplant are ready to pick. In the video are yellow squash, cucumbers, butternut squash, corn, pole beans, okra, zucchini, lettuce, beets, cabbage, onions, and tomatoes. 😀

LEDs have a decade or more MTBF, so why can't someone make a driver within an order of magnitude as reliable? Looks like D2 failed openish, and Home Depot doesn't carry S1Ms.
@busterb It's been my experience that cheap drivers fail before LEDs or the LEDs are driven way over their rating. I have had plenty of LEDs last 20+ years running at 50%

@kajer Yeah, same experience, except for I have no idea what a non-cheap driver looks like!

This replacement driver was $8, which seems like a lot for what it is, but the only way I could comparison shop was which ones looked slightly better than junk and met my best guess for specs. So I bought something that wasn't the cheapest, but who knows if it's junk under the covers. Guess I'll see when it fails!

@kajer Well, that had a quick answer; it just flashes on and off. Guess this is pushing the new driver past the limit, even though it's rated for 30w.
