Seinfeld's comedy would have never worked after the smart phone.

He'd say "what's the deal with airline food?", and everyone would just lookup what the deal _was_ about airline food. I'd get lost for the next 30 minutes reading the history of airline food.

Back then, he knew what the deal was, and you just had to listen.
