Not sure I’ve ever read a book as beautifully written as Nothing but Blackened Teeth by @casskhaw. This was literary ASMR. The writing wasn’t just lyrical and pretty it was brain-tingly and visceral. My god.
Oh, it was also scary as all get out.

My #gamedev buddy of many years, Dustin Hansen (@dustwrites) just joined Mastodon and I wanted to give him an #introduction to get him going
Dustin was instrumental in being a leader and a mentor in my early days in #videogames at #EA. An #artist that reached great professional heights with hard work and without having to be a massive dick to everybody. Never settling he did theme parks, toys, books, indies, AAA, art teacher to his kids, etc, hes awesome.
My agent and I agreed it'd be wise to wait until after the new year to put my newest MG on sub.
On one hand this means I won't be frantically checking my phone every three seconds during the holidays.
On the other it means I need to scrap my New Year's resolution to not frantically check my phone every three seconds in 2023.
