Glad I smoked yesterday - much nicer sunny weather! Just had to gently heat up the ribs a bit in the oven and why not with a bit of BBQ sauce (have had this bottle for ages!). Mac (ok shellbows) & cheese and corn & bean salad to round out a fine Summer Sunday #lunch with sweet watermelon end

I think I might have secured my most favorite grandma status for the immediate future.
Lunch was a huge hit.
Dessert was even better.
My new recipe for blueberry cobbler is a keeper.
Such a good time.
Now they want to come out every other Saturday for an encore.
I don't have to worry about leftovers because they took them all home.
We feel loved and cherished.
Doesn't get better than that for us.

I just discovered the joys of Ungava Gin. Its yellow colour comes from cloudberries. It’s the first gin I’ve tried (I haven’t tried very many) that I would describe as smooth. Adding cold tonic water almost seems like spoiling it!
