#Amsterdam Central Station has just opened two new bicycle parking facilities, which are not built on or underground, but underwater. Together they offer space for around 11,000 bicycles. #urbanplanning

The Three Sisters

Long before European settlers arrived in America, the Iroquois practiced companion planting or polyculture with "the three sisters": corn, beans and squash.

🔵 Corn (maize) has sturdy stalks that support pole beans.
🔵 Beans enrich the soil with nitrogen fixation.
🔵 Squash leaves cool the soil and hinder weeds.

In Science Magazine today, peer-reviewed research showed Exxon scientists predicted global warming with incredible accuracy as early as 1977.

Also #ExxonKnew the ‘carbon budget’ for holding warming below 2°C.

They chose to deliberately spread disinformation and climate denial to continue making massive profits instead of inform the public of the danger.

This should make the lawsuits easier.

The country where EVs have been most successful is Norway. The runner-up is Iceland. People trying to tell you EVs don’t work in cold weather are working for the oil companies —whether they know it or not.
