Walking with the baby pram yesterday and a helpfully sleeping bairn let us stay nice and quiet to ID the interesting hopping birds in the bushes. Siskin and Goldcrest added to my patch list for the year. 53spp and way ahead of this time last year. Almost all #lowcarbonbirding too.

I was today years old when I found out a short note I'd submitted to the Durham Archaeological Journal back in 2015 was actually published in it! After the edits I was never told it made the final cut. Eventually forgot.
So published a thing I didn't know I'd published.
Wild.
