Ultra spicy post claiming to be from UK retailer employee (M&S or Co-op) about their experience with TCS on their security incident. https://www.reddit.com/r/cybersecurity/comments/1ll1l6c/scattered_spider_tcs_blame_avoidance/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
Who's great idea to "fix" this was it?😖 Now one of the planetary gear cogs has vanished, nowhere to be seen!

Too bad that the school closes for good this summer after decades of operation, but that's a demographics matter rather than anything else.
At the last day of school term (almost) celebrations, I noticed the big touch screen classroom display wasn't the usual Windows but a Gnome desktop!
Well done junta de Andalucía, long term FOSS users and advocates!

Today I am having fun pitting the suggested code fixes from one LLM into another LLM for validation, then throwing it back to the first LLM whilst the forests burn and no code actually gets fixed! (the suggested "fixes" don't work!)
So I wasted a morning attempting to debug some .php issues with AI and have to say that while the suggestions seemed perfectly reasonable to a non dev/coder, my suspicions are that a competent dev would have been laugh/crying at the suggestions made by AI.
Encouraging to see all the #NoKings activities in the timeline today FWIW...

The UK Govt’s secret order to allegedly access iCloud data will now be heard openly — with civil society at the table.

By joining this case, we’re challenging the systemic use of surveillance powers in secrecy.
