And yes, I know this is also sort of "people who can afford nice things get better" when taken further, and I _hate_ that. But I also dislike holding people back because others in their group can't keep up. It just hurts the people who could excel for no real reason.

And don't give me "but you could just hardware" - no, no I could not. I grew up poor, and if I damage something and it doesn't work, I can't have another - so I _will_ not do hardware modifications. "You could just pay" - again, poor.

This here, i3 on a work machine that I can't put wayland on for reasons.

I do reccomend, when folks have time and want to expiriment with the system they're already using (i.e. they know what programs they use and are looking for how to be efficient in handling them when multitasking) testing out a tiled window manager. But know what you use first, and how you use it. Otherwise it's just "why would I ever" (:
