It's just very difficult to gain spoons back when there are so many things that are horrific going on. It's not that I don't want to know or help, it's that I need to regain strength.
Also it's just _physically_ dark and I keep sleeping thru the daytime because I'm tired.
So I... think I will close the tab for fedi for a while. I'll see you in a bit.

No I haven't given up, I'm just out of spoons.
So you may be wondering what I've been up to, and, to be honest, I've just been sad and depressed and sleeping. I did send presents to folks in Gaza, because - well, because. Also to some indiginous(sp) folks in North America. But the world is still very … not well, at all, and not enough people are doing things to make it better. Loads of folks who are trying to make things better are running out of spoons, and many who just want it to go away are just going to… eventually, get their wish. They'll have their faces eaten by the leopards, and then the leopard face eating party people will do their "I can't believe the leopards ate MY face" thing.

I am concerned that not enough people are donating to causes this Christmas that my bank is concerned that what I'm doing is fraudulent.
I'm also concerned that people would take advantage of people in this way, causing banks to need to set up things like this.
I'm also very upset that certain "Leaders" act in ways that are actually worse than this, and cause people to live in conditions which lead them to hurt others just to stay alive.
So you know.
