Took my partner for a birthday-part-two visit to Pigs In the Wood sanctuary. Pigs! And goats! And some chickens (not pictured 😂). Had such a good time, it's a brilliant place and deserving of more support.

Admittedly I didn't watch the full video that this text was displayed next to, so this may have been addressed, but I think it's important to note that while the social model of disability can be a good starting point, it isn't a true representation of the full picture.
Just looking at autism, if we removed all of the stigma, all of the systemic stuff and the things other people do that can stop autistic people thriving, things like executive dysfunction would still exist. The repercussions from executive dysfunction may be smaller in, say, a workplace or relationship, and it's possible that dysfunction may be reduced by lower stress levels, but it wouldn't stop it from existing. Like, great, everyone's fine with autism now but the dishes are still piling up 😂 So I think it's important to talk about this in a more nuanced way rather than just the binary options of medical model/social model.
