All I want is an electric car that makes the Jetsons noise when driving at low speed, is that too much to ask for?

@nixCraft I closed a job once where someone just refused to get back to me via any medium, the requester then immediately gave negative feedback in the feedback tool saying it wasn’t done and I had to speak to my manager about the bad feedback 🤦♂️

Question to Americans: If you visit Canada, get quoted a price at a store or venue, and then your response is “is that in Canadian dollars?”, when/why would it ever not be in Canadian dollars? It’s just a weird question to ask when in a foreign country… I get this question OFTEN.
@thurrott I would love this. The only roadblock I would have is my banking apps not being available, everything else I can live without.
@maxleibman @exchgr I’ve had the “plug the iPhone in and get a full desktop experience” dream for a long time, if Apple one day did that it would be an immediate purchase for me.
Regular people get punished with a fine and they feel it financially (and the fine could be a week’s worth of pay, for example). Ultra-wealthy people should have time based penalties (e.g. community service) because a monetary fine means nothing to them but time is valuable to everyone.
I’m not sure why #hydrogen fuel cells haven’t been more encouraged, no they’re not as efficient as electric batteries, but the mining required for #battery #electric isn’t great and the more #greenenergy being used to create useable hydrogen the less it really matters to the environment that it’s not as efficient.
