Hey #genomics people, what are some upcoming trends in your field you're excited about in the next few years (hopefully)?
@AngelGM Very cute chambers!
@mentor ahh nice thank you for this share. It might be that i just need to curate a list of existing projects for lab related stuff!
@nickmcg yes! Love it, got started with a simple remote door status checker and have been adding in more bits and bobs :)
@jamespblloyd @CyberplasmReborn @hsalis Cyberplasm used it just before in this thread! :P it's semantics really, just interesting how vocab/terms evolve over time.
@jamespblloyd @CyberplasmReborn @hsalis I'm also fascinated as to where SynthBio came from oppose to SynBio. I'm seeing more and more people refer to Synthetic Biology as SynthBio.
is anyone familiar with any sort of #opensource smart lab project? I've been messing with the #ESP32 and home assistant and thinking this would be super useful for being able to remotely monitor laboratory, equipment, temp, co2 levels in incubators, air quality, etc #opensource #homeassistant #science
hey Australian Life Sciences people #biochemistry #genomics #synbio Looking for a second hand BSC2 cabinet happy to pay, anyone know of any not doing anything in your lab floor and able to put me in touch with site/floor managers? x
@berteroale Note to self, don't read cell ag papers on an empty stomach. Thank you so much for sharing!

@berteroale Great to see you here :) Keeping an eye out for others doing research that is applicable to CellAg.

Do you have any papers in relation to the application of your work to the cell ag sector?
