02/13/21 - We wanted to get away for valentine's day, but Mother Nature had other plans. That weekend, Oregon was hit by an intense snowstorm. We made the two-hour drive to our reservation at McMenamins Crystal Ballroom despite everything in #Portland being shut down. I knew I loved you when we had nothing else to do but still had a memorable time being goofy together
#LaneCountyFair 2021. We ate an excessive amount of sugar and I failed to win any prizes. But our first #carousel ride together was the most #memorable part.

I became a semi trucker back in 2017. The money was good but there was too much loneliness for me to handle, even with a co-driver. During my mentorship I stopped at a location with multiple stray dogs wandering around. My mentor told me how drivers would get dogs to be companions but then kick them out when they couldn’t handle or train them properly. Taking this pup in wasn’t an option for me. But I do still wonder if someone ever did.
