I like to take photos, I use digital, and film cameras.
Multiple photos as you move the camera to get different parts in focus then you stack them together with something like zerene to get one image with larger focused area

Made a focus stack of some stick I found while on a walk, I guess my lens was a bit dirty so the dirty spot got repeated a few times since it was hand held

Slurp!
This was pretty scary to take because I kept getting real close up to the bee's to try and get a few shots but then the other bees on the plant would be flying around my head, or they would fly off before I would get them into focus and they would be in my diffuser

Using my Nikon manual lens on the Sony body was a challenge to get these planes in focus

Cool picture! Sorry different question, how did you post on lemmy from a pixelfed account?
You mention the community, if I’m not mistaken.
Is this possible from Mastodon too ? I would love to give it a try ٩(◕‿◕。)۶
Yeah mastodon works better from my testing, I don’t really know how to use mastodon but you can see more comments back and forth
Does this comment appears onto pixelfed post too in comment section ? w(°o°)w
just checked the post on pixelfed, it shows my top level comment but no children
cool, thanks!

What is a focus stack?
Basically you take multiple pictures moving the camera a bit so the focus moves. With macro lenses the focus area is so small so you use software to combined all the pictures together
